01
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website places on the user's device (computer, tablet or mobile) when they visit it. Their main function is to remember information about the visit in order to improve the browsing experience or to collect usage statistics.
Cookies may be first-party (installed directly by the website visited) or third-party (installed by external services integrated into the website). By duration, they may be session cookies (deleted when the browser is closed) or persistent cookies (remaining on the device for a set period or until the user deletes them).
Additional information on the use of cookies can be found in the Guide on the use of cookies from the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
02
Types of cookies
According to their purpose, cookies are commonly classified into four categories:
- Technical or strictly necessary: essential for the basic functioning of the website. Without them, certain features would not be available. They do not require prior user consent.
- Preference or personalisation cookies: allow the user's choices (language, visual settings, etc.) to be remembered in order to personalise the browsing experience.
- Analytics or statistics cookies: collect information about user behaviour for statistical purposes, to improve the website. They require consent.
- Marketing or advertising cookies: allow personalised ads to be displayed based on the user's profile and measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns. They require consent.
03
Cookies used on this site
No analytics or marketing cookies. This website does not currently install analytics or marketing cookies. We do not use Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel or any other tracking or advertising service requiring prior user consent.
The only cookies that may be present are technical and strictly necessary, inherent to the operation of the contact form and the secure browsing session:
| Name | Type | Duration | Purpose |
|---|---|---|---|
PHPSESSID / session |
Technical · First-party | Session | Maintains the user's session state during browsing. Deleted when the browser is closed. |
csrf_token |
Technical · First-party | Session | Security token to protect the contact form against CSRF attacks. Deleted when the browser is closed. |
Technical cookies do not require prior user consent in accordance with Art. 22.2 of the LSSI-CE and the AEPD guidelines.
When any analytics or advertising service that installs cookies requiring consent is integrated, this policy will be updated and the corresponding consent mechanism will be enabled before its activation.
04
How to manage cookies from your browser
The user can configure their browser to accept, reject or delete cookies installed on their device. Below are links to the help pages of the main browsers:
Please note that disabling certain cookies may affect the proper functioning of the website or some of its features.
For mobile devices, we recommend consulting the documentation from your operating system manufacturer (iOS or Android) on managing cookies in the installed browser.
05
How to withdraw consent
Since this website does not currently install cookies requiring consent (analytics, marketing or advertising), there is no active consent panel.
If this type of cookie is integrated in the future, a preference management mechanism accessible from any page of the site will be enabled, allowing the user to grant, modify or withdraw their consent at any time, as easily as it was granted.
In any case, the user can delete the existing technical cookies on their device at any time through their browser settings (see previous section), without this having any data protection implications.
06
Changes to the cookie policy
Urbancat Obres i Reformes S.L. reserves the right to modify this Cookie Policy to adapt it to applicable legislation, technological changes or the incorporation of new services on the website.
When relevant changes occur — especially if cookies requiring consent are incorporated — the user will be informed by means of a visible notice on the first visit to the website after the update, with the possibility of reviewing the new conditions and granting or denying consent.
The "last updated" date appearing in the header of this document always reflects the current version of the policy.
